    It is a freeze-dried product of dephosphorylated &aipha;-casein derived from bovine milk. It is used as a control protein in phosphoprotein research. The SDS-PAGE of the product using a gel containing Phos-tag shows 2 bands: &aipha;-casein and dephosphorylated &aipha;-casein. The product is not completely dephosphorylated.
